The goal of a reputable pageant is to provide a fair environment in which young women have the opportunity to better themselves.  The pageant
Encourages the contestants to gain self-awareness, self-confidence,
Individual pride, and greater social awareness. Each contestant improves
her  ability  to communicate effectively, speak in front of people, and
stand  up for her beliefs. Contestants are encouraged to find issues they
feel strongly about, and to become involved in  organizations and causes
that speak to their heart.  Each young lady who enters a pageant has
different goals, and pageants can assist each young woman in her own
personal quest.

Regardless of what your future career plans are, the pageant environment
can open many exciting  doors.  Each year, future career connections are made by contestants during  their pageant experience! Or, maybe a
contestant has not decided yet on a future career path. That¹s okay too;
because, maybe the pageant experience itself will help the contestant find
something they want to do with their life. The pageant could even be a
chance to get "discovered!" Its happened to many young women before!

Many pageant contestants each year have never been in a pageant before.
They find it to be a rewarding and worthwhile experience. Many  have
actually won on  their first attempt, and many others return  because it
was a positive experience. Each young woman who participates in a pageant leaves a little more prepared to deal with the world around them, and more importantly, the world ahead of them! Basically, it's not about encouraging young women to "win a  pageant,", but to encourage excellence in young women, and to help  them develop life skills that will ultimately  help them "win in life," by being the best they can be in everything they do.

The winners of our State Pageants will embark on an exciting journey, and receive varying prize packages depending on the pageant system. Prizes could include cash, wardrobe, and travel. In addition to the prizes, life
direction, and improved communication skills, most pageants encourage young women to be healthy and emphasize the importance of spiritual, emotional and physical well being. They also instill self confidence, pride, and belief in one's own ability to succeed.
